Welcome to the Play Lab

Nursery Play
Cute Baby Boy

Opening June 3rd, 2024!

The Play Lab is an unique, educational play environment for children and caregivers to spend quality time together. The space has been carefully designed according to child development. Children in the early childhood years need plenty of opportunity for learning through play and using all of their senses. We have activities for gross and fine motor development, language skills, mathematics, practical life skills, sensory play, music, art and imaginative play.

The Play Lab will give caregivers the opportunity to meet others and build a supportive environment. We not only are here to educate young minds, but caregivers too! We understand how overwhelming it can be to know what to read, what activities to do to promote development, but also just what to do to have FUN!   Each activity displayed has a short description of different ways to use it according to the interests of your child, but also what the activity is focusing on for that child's development. We do all the research for you, so that all you have to do is PLAY!

How it works

01

Always something new & exciting

Each month the Play Lab will rotate and add in seasonal activities. This gives children the month to master skills, but keep their curiosity growing with new things to learn each month.

Parking/Location

We are located at 172 Taunton Ave. East Providence, RI 02914

We have parking in the back of the building (turn down James St.). There is also free street parking.

Please keep in mind that we are located on the 2nd floor, so strollers are not recommended. We also recommend using the front entrance as the side entrance has steep stairs.

06

Clean, safe, Eco-friendly Environment

This is a no shoe zone in order to maintain a clean environment for our little crawlers.

We use child safe, eco-friendly products to sanitize daily the toys. We ask if a child has put their mouth on a toy to use our self-cleaning station before putting it back on shelf.

We also have an air purifier running to keep the air fresh for everyone!
