Open Creativity Lab for Child and Caregiver

Lotus Little's Creativity Lab is a warm, inviting prepared environment for children and their parents or caregivers to learn, play, and create together.
Inspired by the philosophies of Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia, our space encourages independence, creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning through hands-on, child-led experiences.
Each month features a new theme that inspires our learning invitations, sensory experiences, process art, books, music, and dramatic play. From nature and seasons to animals, transportation, community helpers, and cultures around the world, every month brings fresh opportunities to explore and discover.
Families can enjoy thoughtfully designed learning areas that promote every aspect of early childhood development, including:
Fine motor and practical life activities
Language and early literacy
Hands-on math exploration
Dramatic play
Building and construction
Gross motor play
Each visit includes Process Art, where children are encouraged to experiment, create, and express themselves freely. We celebrate the creative process, helping children build confidence, problem-solving skills, and a love of self-expression.
Special weekly experiences such as Music Time, Story Time, seasonal celebrations, nature-inspired activities, and other enriching events provide even more opportunities for learning, creativity, and connection.
We believe children learn best through meaningful play and authentic experiences. By blending the child-centered principles of Montessori, the imagination of Waldorf, and the collaborative creativity of Reggio Emilia, we create a nurturing environment where children and caregivers learn side by side.

Sensory Explorers: A 6-Week Caregiver and Child Class
Inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia principles, this class recognizes that young children learn about their world through their senses. Each
6 week session will have its own engaging theme, giving children the opportunity to explore and learn about that theme through sensory experiences.
As children explore each theme through their senses, they will build vocabulary, make connections, strengthen developing skills, and connect with other little friends—all while learning through play and hands-on discovery.
Classes are led by an experienced early childhood educator with a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and
10+ years of experience, bringing formal education, hands-on experience, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
