Nurturing Curiosity: Montessori Playgroups

bloom2_edited.png

Join Us

Our Montessori playgroups enrich children's social, emotional, and cognitive learning by providing a nurturing environment where they can explore and engage with others through hands-on activities. These playgroups encourage independence, foster emotional development through collaboration, and promote cognitive growth with thoughtfully designed tasks that stimulate curiosity and critical thinking.

Learning Through Play

The Montessori Play Group is a daily class for ages 15 months-4 years that has 2 options for enrollment to best suit the needs of your family. We have a 2 hour option that runs from 10am-12pm or a 4 hour option that runs from 8:30am-12:30pm. Each session immerses children in learning through Montessori language, math and practical life activities, fine motor skill development, art, music, dramatic play and STEM activities.

Following The Childs Lead

A specialized program that has a small group size to allow for following the lead of each child’s interests and development.

Socialization Skills

The play group will give plenty of opportunity for making friendships and gaining social skills through circle times, snack time, collaborative projects and activities.  The play group is also a great way to complement a home school program to add in socialization and enrichment programs with a steady group of familiar friends.

Parent Support

We believe it truly takes a village in raising a child, so we want to be there as your village and help support your family! We will include ways to help support learning at home and provide resources for learning about child development. We also will host various events throughout the year where parents will be invited to view their child’s learning and progress.

Play Group Enrollment Process:

We are rolling admissions!

1. Schedule a meet and greet session:  Email to set up a meet and greet appointment to see the space and answer any questions you have.

2. Choose days and program length: We can discuss what play group days will be the best fit for your child and what availability we have since we do keep our play groups small.  You can enroll in 2, 3 or 5 days. This gives parents flexibility in those that want more structured weeks for their child to prepare them for school or just would like a smaller number of classes per week  to ease their child into structured settings.

3. Complete paperwork: We ask for a 6 month commitment so that your child can experience the full benefits of the program. Some time is needed for adjustment for the child and observation from our guides to then learn about your child's individual interests and learning styles.
